ok, I just got told I have copd. I have not smoked in over a year. Just
like in January I was down 20 pounds then a month later I lost my vision and
was told I was diabetic. The more I do "right", the more that goes wrong.
Why do bad things happen to good people. I'm down.

Hey, I am taking meds that are used to treat COPD. I use them because
I have problems with my sinuses and bronchial passages. I take these
meds because the smooth muscles in these passages are oversensitive
and overreact. I produce a lot of mucus and at times I am quite ill.
I had to work in a smoke filled office for many years. I finally
become so ill that I had to quit. I am now on SSDI. BTW, I am also
diabetic. That is just the way things are. I think the additional
body stress from working in a smoking environment caused the diabetes.
Clean living was not an issue since I never smoked. It is just the
way life is.
